08.27.04 - House Party Tour: Night 2. Another gig, at a house. Check it out later to see how it went. Well, things started off good. but it all went a little nuts during alright caroline (the third song). adam sat on a stool and played his acoustic and halfway through the song somebody threw what was believed to be a mountain dew can at his face. it hit him in the cheek area (on his face, get your minds out of the gutter) and he stopped singing for a second but he kept playing guitar and got back on track a few moments later. jarrod saw the guy who threw it so he got up from behind the drum kit and chased the dude outside to the front lawn where he was pants'd and dealt with accordingly. later that night adam took another shot to the face when he jumped then came down and lost his balance and hit his lip on the mic. any ladies that want to help him feel better please contact him ASAP. adam was fine for the rest of the night but during a drum solo jarrod broke his bass drum head. luckily this was towards the end of the night. as usual nate made it out completely untouched. thats about it for this show. tune in later for more adventures. The band will be playing a show at a party tonight. Check it out later to see how it went. I can report things went well. The night kicked off at 7, give or take a few minutes, and the boys rocked the house. The set went something like this: Run Away Life is Good Anything -cover of Third Eye Blind- Turtle Wax Dammit -cover of blink 182- This Isn't Fair ??.??.04 - "Neko Christmas Birthday Bash," take two. New plans are in the air for a show of some sort due to the lack of happenings surrounding the supposed "Neko Christmas Birthday Bash." Nothing official at the moment. Be ready, though, it could spring at any moment, and you wouldn't want to miss out. 12.??.03 - Neko Christmas Birthday Bash! Cancelled The band, as of now, will be playing a show at Neko's birthday party, which will be sometime in mid- to late December. Still in the planning stages, as far as I know, but everyone will be there, no doubt.(Note: His name is actually Niko, but I say we all call him Neko, like geko with an n. It's just more fun that way.) ¤ If you would like to view a practice session you can contact the band to talk about that. |
